Meet Jodi
Jodi Smith is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and clinically trained mental health therapist. She is currently accepting patients ages 10+ in her private practice, Hendersonville Family Psychiatry, LLC. Jodi provides psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and medication management to children, adolescents, and adults. As a medication provider and clinically trained mental health therapist, she has vast experience working with a variety of diagnosis and ages, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma, and PTSD.
As a mental health provider, Jodi believes in patient-centered care and ensures her patients feel heard, understood, and validated. Jodi focuses on building trust and therapeutic alliance with her patients, and works to create individualized treatment plans focused on the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of each patient.
Jodi earned a Master of Education (M.Ed) degree from Vanderbilt University in Human
Development Counseling. As a clinically trained mental health therapist, Jodi worked with children, adolescents, and families. Her clinical interest in psychiatry led Jodi to pursue a Master of Science degree in Nursing from Vanderbilt University.
